Scam Warning — Protect Yourself
We have been made aware of fake Facebook pages, fake booking accounts, and imposters posing as Kabsat La Union. Please read this page carefully before making any payment or sharing personal information.

Do not proceed — and report to us immediately — if anyone claiming to be Kabsat La Union does any of the following:
Asks you to pay a deposit via GCash, Maya, or bank transfer to a personal number before your visit
Sends you a booking confirmation through an unofficial Facebook Messenger account
Offers prices significantly lower than our published menu (too good to be true)
Uses a phone number other than +63 917 556 5116 to confirm "reservations"
Has a Facebook page that looks similar to ours but with a slightly different name or fewer followers
Asks for personal details (full name, ID, credit card info) over chat to "secure" a booking
Promises exclusive discounts, free meals, or giveaways not listed on our official channels
Claims to be a Kabsat staff member contacting you about a "contest" you never joined
What Kabsat La Union Will NEVER Do
- •We will never ask for a reservation deposit sent to a personal GCash, Maya, or bank account.
- •We will never contact you from a personal Facebook profile to confirm a booking.
- •We will never ask for your credit card number, password, or ID over chat.
- •We will never run booking contests that require you to send money first.
If You Think You've Been Targeted
1. Do not send any money. Once a payment is made to a scammer it is extremely difficult to recover.
2. Report the fake page. Use Facebook's "Report" feature on the impersonating account and select "Pretending to be a business".
3. Contact us directly. Message our official Facebook page or call +63 917 556 5116 so we are aware and can warn others.
4. File a report. You may file a report with the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP ACG) at acg.pnp.gov.ph or call their hotline at 0998-598-8116.
Always verify with us before making any payment. When in doubt — call us directly.
